Under the sea and beneath the surface--find out how Sharks and Sea Stars have special adaptations for their marine environment through dissection. This class can be completed on its own or as a follow-up to the frog and worm class.
Participants must be at least 6 years of age and have a caregiver chaperone attend the class with them. Chaperones are not responsible for dissection, just supervising your little one while we observe safe practices in using sharp dissection tools. A chaperone may supervise 2 students. For example, 2 siblings or 2 friends that plan to meet up for class.
For safety purposes, please plan to wear closed-toe shoes to class and be prepared to pull back hair longer than shoulder-length.
Each participant will be a part of a lab group and share dissection specimens.
