Introduce your child to the fun and strategy of Mahjong in this beginner-friendly class for ages six and up! Students will learn the basic rules and history of play, tile recognition, game setup, and simple strategies in an engaging, age-appropriate environment. We’ll also cover Mahjong etiquette, including good sportsmanship and respectful table behavior. Whether your child is brand new to the game or curious to learn more, this class provides a great foundation and understanding and all things Mahjong! *Participants must be age 6 as of 6/30/26.

*Drop-off and check-in will begin at 9:50 a.m. To ensure a safe and focused class experience, the museum will be closed to the public and unavailable for general play during the program. A staff member will remain at the desk for the duration of the class.

Due to limited staffing, siblings may not stay and play on the museum floor during class time. Thank you for your understanding!
